Gridlock in a beautiful world

CHRISTINE IS BACK! :D For a while, anyways. I can't control my happiness! I spent the day picking her up and hugging her torso. After changing my oil and being late, that is. I'm always late. I was sitting in gridlock on the way to her house, and I realised how everyone around had something to do. Everyone seemed unaware of eachother, that noone else was on the planet, or that everyone else was a lesser person. I kind of panicked, thinking how we, as people, go through life being shut off and afraid of other people. Sure, we can't be friends with everyone, but it hurts to think of how we are all humans, and can't all respect eachother and live in a perfect world. DAMMIT, why can't we be perfect!? "If everybody looked the same..." that song has a good message.
I keep realising that, even though my life may not be perfect, it sure is perfect for me. I'm so happy with my life, the trials and tribulations in it. I need to be reminded that life is like a slurpee. The good times gotta be cherished, or you'll be disappointed in the end. All ranting aside, I'm happy with my life. Although I may not become famous or a meaningful person in the world, I know that I have people who are extremely meaningful in my life.

So, onto the day. I had a hotdog. Then I went to pick Christine up. It's so good to have her home! ARG! :D We stayed at my house for dinner where we had some awesome soup/cheese. We watched some HILLARIOUS Jeff Dundam,
and proceeded THAT with some Gelato from Esq... from a place that Christine and I love to visit.
We moseyed on to Improv at Gallagher's, a place I haven't been in months, I am ashamed to admit. It was better than I remember it. We also had some beer at the pub, which I can't remember the name of, but we sure had it, I promise! Scout's honor! After improv, was the much anticipated I am Legend, a movie I had high hopes for. Hopes that were satisfied again and again. Will Smith will adopt me and teach me how to act. That's just the way it's gonna be. The only other movies that have impacted me this much are Patch Adams, Star wars (yes, actually), and the Land before time (I was young, okay!). But this one was different. My heart sank to the floor from fear, suspense, and sadness so many times that I had to get a harpoon to keep it in it's place. It was more spontaneous than Michael Jackson if he had ADD. "Today I wanna be white. No, spam." An amazing movie. If you haven't watched it, then shame on you. Shame. Off to the Romeins, and soon, sleep. UMOTD:

More Adrian!

My past two days have gone like this: Not doing much, and then going over to Adrian's house. Again. I had to pick up John's XBOX and the cables from Chris, because Chris had accidentally taken John's power cables. Adrian and I started off the night with some Supreme commander, which lags EXTREMELY on absolutely any computer. Then, we started a hardcore Halo 2 co-op, on Heroic. We got all the way to the level where you play as arbiter, trying to get into the library to get the icon. Fascinating news, I know. Then, we were distracted by a little game called Lost Planet which Adrian... um.. legally downloaded for his computer. That game started off really plain, but it's cool level rose exponentially when the explosions started flying! Awesome game, in the end. We played games (all hooked up to his giant TV) until 8:30 AM. I slept for 3 hours, and then got called in to work, where Jurek wanted me to take his shift. I was planning on just chilling and vegging all day, but since he got into some special course, and had to go, I went in to work for him.

However, I still made it for Table 23 Customer appreciation day, just like I was planning! It was awesome, and the cafe was packed all the way to the street! All the guys were there, and they did skits reenacting people's lives' in the audience. They picked Ange, Conor, Paul, Betty, and a guy named Jessy, Oh and me! They think I run Plateau Pizza by myself because I can do everything, so
Graham was me delivering pizza to Scarlett Johansson, played by a gorgeous Russ a la wig. Then, Jeff was Ange at EB, with a geeky customer (me, played by Graham again) asking to make out with her. The best one was the one about Paul, or rather, The Romeins. Hi-larious. Jonothan was Paul, directing everyone around the movie set. Russ was Jason, wanting more responsibility and freedom. Best of all, Jeff was Brian. Jeff played Brian off to a T. Always eager and enthusiastic about any job you give him.
"I want to be grip!" "You are grip" "Sweet!"
All in all, it was a hillarious night, with plenty of laughs and stickers had by all.

Paul, Jessy, Ange, Britt and I moseyed over to The Treehouse where we played a VERY quick game of settlers, which was lucky, because I was falling asleep. Then, Paul and I decided to changed things up by chilling at MY house! *GASP* We marvelled at my new mouse, Paul did the first revision of the script for Whispers, and I played Half - Life 2. I made Paul a sandwich.

Imrpov-okee after pasta. The best dessert.

Today was such a Star Wars day. In the morning, after I drove my sister to school, I played some star wars games, and watched The Empire Strikes back. It was probably because a few days ago I had found all that Star Wars stuff. I then continued to play some games, and got a few shirts in the mail! I'll be sure to post pictures of them as soon as I'm caught wearing clothing. Shouldn't be any time soon. Then Krista came by and we lay on the grass in the sun for a while before going to Pasta Polo. We had some amazing meals, and I actually packaged up what little I had left, because I didn't want Krista to sit there watching me eat forever! We left there to go to Improv, and had a blast there. I got there, and when graham asked the audience who signed up for improv-okee, and I didn't put up my hand, Russ looks over at me angrily. I told him I forgot we had to sign up, so he goes to the sheet, telling me he signed me up for every game that had a blank beside it. I did 99 blanks, which is my weakest game, and I actually didn't do too bad! I was actually glad with what I did, and the choices I made. Next time I want to play a more energetic game, though. Then Krista and I went to sit and watch the sun go down.

Settlers of Katan and Lots of Funnies

I caved today. I finally gave in and decided to try and play settlers of catan. Up until now, I'd been avoiding it, just because I didn't want to get sucked into another craze. Kinda like Pokemon :P. ...Although that was a long time ago. ANYways, I am consumed by Settlers. Although the name sounds completely uncool. So passive. "Oh, don't mind us, we're just settling on this land." It would be cool if it was like... PWNERS of catan... or at least Conqerors of Katan. Then I'd be scared, and might've been more interested in the beginning. It was really great, anticipating my next move, strategizing, and pwning most of the folks there. I got 9 victory points, Biatches! :D I also got longest road and longest army! It was wicked! Chris won in the end, and I'll admit I would've had to go a couple more times to actually win. But I had a "blasty-blast" (-Dane Cook).

I attended Improv for the first time in a LONG time today! :D SO much fun! The guys were all there for once, and it seems every time they get funnier than ever! My favourite part of the day was when lazy Brad was cleaning up the counter in subway, and Graham and Jeff walk in, drunk, and try to order a sandwich. Jonothan was the hillarious over-eager boss who kept trying to give them lettuce. I will never go to subway the same way again.

When I was sitting on an office chair and Chris pressed the lever with his foot without me noticing, and the chair suddenly dropped half a foot. I squealed. Much laughing ensued.
