iGame

I love Assassin's Creed. It's a game that's so good... it pwns. Everything. I love it so much I invited my good gaming friends to come and bask in the love that is this awesome game. So after I finished work last night, I invited Adrian, Sean, and Brian to come over and game a bunch. Adrienn even came to game! And did we ever game. Sean brought his Xbox 360 and Mass Effect... which is glory in itself... and we brought my tv downstairs as to have both systems going at the same time. It was a chore being quiet enough not to wake my family, but in the end, we managed to do it. They apparently didn't even hear us! We played until about 6:00 this morning, and the guys are still sleeping. I just woke up and am currently converting music and videos onto my cell phone... it's a chore. I can't figure some stuff out, and it's just difficult. I will succeed, though!

Prepare to get your brain pwned.

Portal will blow your mind. Like, you will play this game, and it will actually make your grey matter ooze out of your ears in amazement, and out of your mouth as you drool at it's uber awesomeness. Playing this game is something spectacular. They even manage to make an STD joke! Your guide makes constant jokes and jests at your survival, and its presentation is simple, and straight to the point. Moreover, it's a concept that just rocks.

Number 1 in the frickin world

A lot of practice yields this. The game: DiRT. The pWnage: Greg. The track: Monte Di Ii Conchi B. Try and beat me. I'm on to other tracks. If I keep this time for a week, Chris owes me 15 bucks. And don't forget it.

LANfest!

After work, I went out for Gelato with Kat, and they finally had white chocolate raspberry! I was so happy! We delivered some pizzas. Together. After I clocked out already.

I headed over to Kyles' place shortly after for an H-core LANfest! It was good times. Nicolai, Chris, Kyle and I hit up WOW for a bit... which I got addicted to... (crap) ... and Then we played some DiRT. Chris and I can play that game for hours, just racing the same track over and over again until we beat the fastest time, or just beat the other. At 6:00 AM, Chris and I were the only ones concious, and the sun was coming up.

The Playstation 3, Part 2

*Due to my PS3's awesomeness, blogging and any text imput is restricted to a certain number of characters. This post continues my previous post.*

So, The PS3.. right. Aside from gaming and Internet, I was going to say, the PS3 is also is amazing in it's capability to play music, review pictures, watch films (yes, I called them films) and store all this on your hard drive! I'm a sucker for gadgets and other geeky things, so when I saw the way the PS3 does slide shows... I was blown away. The pictures appear as if they were on some table and you and your friends were just looking at them casually! It's a very slick touch. The media player is a bit tough to work with, as your music can't be played while you change settings, and, as of yet, I havent' found a quick way to get back to the media player to switch songs or stop them. I have to select a new song and stop THAT one, because that's only when the media player "dashboard" shows up. Late for the party.

I like golf

Today, I got a call from Christine and Nate! Yeah, I know! We talked for a while because they were together, and Nate was just about to leave Christine's to go home. Apparently, Christine found the place where they filmed a scene from her favourite movie, Cool Runnings! It was in her campus' lobby or something like that! I was just thinking how COOL it would be to see a place from your favourite movie!

"OH. MY. GOD! DUDE! This is TOTALLY the inside of the whale from Pinoccio! Dude I've ALWAYS wanted to be at the location of one of my favourite... wait... crap. We're inside a giant whale. Not good."
I met up with Lissa after lunch, and took her to Esquires for the same gelato I bought everyone yesterday. She LOVED the white chocolate raspberry, but she couldn't finish her's because of their giant portions. I finally let her know which pizza place I work at, and we stopped by there for a bit. But then we went to play mini golf! It was SO much fun, as mini golf often is, and she absolutely kicked my ass! We went for a short walk around Lefarge park for a little, watched a bit of a lacrosse practice, and then I drove her home, 'cause she still had homework to do, and had school the next morning.

I stopped by the Treehouse, where Paul had laid out the Scripts for Whispers for all of us. I was fully prepared to find a way to fix 94 pages of script together, but as you can see, Paul already had that taken care of! I was blown away! I started reading it, and then headed off to Chris'.

At Chris' we played stuntman ignition on his 360 until early in the morning. I went on a not-so-wild goose chase to find that game, since it's just been released, and noticed that it cost almost $10 to rent it for 5 days! I don't remember rentals being that much... but maybe that's just 'cause I haven't rented in ... oh... FOREVER. It was a real good game, and the multiplayer was solid. Chris' cousin Darcy kept walloping us with his high scores, but thats 'cause he was always last in the cycle so he got to see the setup, and what not to do, twice.

UMOTD:
The way Lissa said "This sucks" when her gum got stuck in her hair. She just said it like a total stoner!

More Adrian!

My past two days have gone like this: Not doing much, and then going over to Adrian's house. Again. I had to pick up John's XBOX and the cables from Chris, because Chris had accidentally taken John's power cables. Adrian and I started off the night with some Supreme commander, which lags EXTREMELY on absolutely any computer. Then, we started a hardcore Halo 2 co-op, on Heroic. We got all the way to the level where you play as arbiter, trying to get into the library to get the icon. Fascinating news, I know. Then, we were distracted by a little game called Lost Planet which Adrian... um.. legally downloaded for his computer. That game started off really plain, but it's cool level rose exponentially when the explosions started flying! Awesome game, in the end. We played games (all hooked up to his giant TV) until 8:30 AM. I slept for 3 hours, and then got called in to work, where Jurek wanted me to take his shift. I was planning on just chilling and vegging all day, but since he got into some special course, and had to go, I went in to work for him.

However, I still made it for Table 23 Customer appreciation day, just like I was planning! It was awesome, and the cafe was packed all the way to the street! All the guys were there, and they did skits reenacting people's lives' in the audience. They picked Ange, Conor, Paul, Betty, and a guy named Jessy, Oh and me! They think I run Plateau Pizza by myself because I can do everything, so
Graham was me delivering pizza to Scarlett Johansson, played by a gorgeous Russ a la wig. Then, Jeff was Ange at EB, with a geeky customer (me, played by Graham again) asking to make out with her. The best one was the one about Paul, or rather, The Romeins. Hi-larious. Jonothan was Paul, directing everyone around the movie set. Russ was Jason, wanting more responsibility and freedom. Best of all, Jeff was Brian. Jeff played Brian off to a T. Always eager and enthusiastic about any job you give him.
"I want to be grip!" "You are grip" "Sweet!"
All in all, it was a hillarious night, with plenty of laughs and stickers had by all.

Paul, Jessy, Ange, Britt and I moseyed over to The Treehouse where we played a VERY quick game of settlers, which was lucky, because I was falling asleep. Then, Paul and I decided to changed things up by chilling at MY house! *GASP* We marvelled at my new mouse, Paul did the first revision of the script for Whispers, and I played Half - Life 2. I made Paul a sandwich.

Gaming Again!

Heh heh... Time to game.

I finally have a free day where I can sit down, and play an uber amount of video games. It's not too nice out, so I also don't feel guilty about not going outside to ride. I just feel like sitting down and playing a LOT. I currently have a number of video games in progress, and I want to work through them all. I really like finishing games, if they're not insanely difficult to finish, like Gran Turismo 4 is. To finish that, I'd probably have to live twice. And a half. Here's to cloning!

I plan to finish these games... in kind of this order:

  1. God of War - PS2
  2. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - N64
  3. Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter - N64
  4. Super Mario 64 DS - DS
  5. Elite Beat Agents - DS
  6. Mech Assault: Phantom War - DS
  7. Colin McRae Rally 3 - PS2
  8. I-Ninja - PS2
  9. Burnout Revenge - PS2
  10. Need For Speed Carbon - PS2
In other news, I filled my car up with plus gas at the Mohawk. 90 octane for the first time. I wanted to treat my car, and see if it changed the pinging coming from using gas from Petro Canada. So far, Sheila is running very smooth, and I'm hoping that Mohawk gas isn't sludge. I trust Chevron and Petro Canada, mostly because Chevron has Techron, but Mohawk is so much cheaper, so I'm wondering if they just get cheap prices due to no marketing, or because it's sludge. Time and research will tell.

Went to see The Invisible with Brian. Good movie. I thought it had a great moral and story to it. Still not as good as Hot Fuzz, though.
